Travis Krahn, who played from 2001-04, is arguably the greatest hitter in the history of the Edgewood College baseball program with his unique blend of hitting for average and power. At the end of his career Krahn ranked first with a career batting average of .397. When inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2013, the native of Rochester, Minnesota still ranked first in school history with a career slugging percentage of .558. He has 61 hits more than any other player in Edgewood College history. Krahn was a First Team All-Lake Michigan Conference player as a freshman, junior and senior and was the LMC Player of the Year in 2004. As a freshman in 2001, Krahn was named LMC Rookie of the Year and helped the Eagles to their first ever conference tournament championship and NCAA Division III Tournament berth.
