Hall of Fame
Came to Edgewood in 1986 to resurrect the athletic program. As athletic director and men’s basketball coach he has a streak of 16 consecutive winning seasons, 8 of them of 20+ wins. He has 6 national tournament appearances, 5 Lake Michigan Conference championships, 3 district championships, and 3 LMC Tournament championships. He has compiled a 227-51 conference record and is 301-171 overall at Edgewood. Has coached 14 All-LMC players, 9 All-District Players, and 4 All-Americans. Was LMC Coach of the Year (1992-95 & 2001), NAIA District Coach of the Year (1992-95), NSCAA North Central Coach of the Year (1988-91), and was also LMC Coach of the Year for women’s golf in 1999. Received his 6th LMC Administrator of the Year award in 2001.
