He played basketball for the Eagles from 1987-1989 and, as starting point guard and captain, led the Eagles to their first two national tournament appearances in school history. His 424 assists is 3rd all-time. He is 24th all-time in points scored. Holds the single game record for assists in a game with 17. He has 3 of the top 6 single game records for assists and he is in the top 15 with steals with 82. As a coach, Eric served as an assistant for the Eagles’ men’s basketball team after graduation, then as head basketball coach at Madison LaFollote High School he led his team to the 2002 WIAA Division I State Championship. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in 1990 and an MA in education in 1999.
