He came to Edgewood in 1976 and proceeded to lead the Eagles men’s basketball team to consecutive Wisconsin Conference of Independent Colleges (WCIC) championships. He stayed two years before transferring to North Park College where he won 2 NCAA DIII titles. He ranks 9th all-time in rebounds. His career scoring average of 15.7 ranks 2nd all-time. He was twice All-WCIC and Most Valuable Player in 1978. He was drafted in the 9th round of the NBA draft by the Phoenix Suns and later had a try-out with the Milwaukee Bucks. He returned to Edgewood and graduated in 1983 with the college’s first nursing class.
