There’s little argument that Megan Scheele stands as one of the greatest women’s basketball players in Edgewood College history. Scheele, a two-time All-American selection and four-time all-conference standout, is Edgewood College’s all-time leading scorer with 2,120 points. As of her 2016 induction, she is one of only 16 players in the history of NCAA Division III women’s basketball to score more than 2,000 points and grab over 1,000 rebounds, two milestones she achieved on the same night. She accumulated 53 double-doubles in her career which ranks her 21st in NCAA Division III history. Scheele was also a classroom star earning CoSIDA Academic All-American honors in both 2008 and 2009.
