Edgewood College has never played Carleton College of Northfield, Minn. in volleyball in their history. In fact, the Eagles haven't faced a team from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletics Conference since playing St. Mary's University in the 2012 season opener. Buena Vista University has defeated the Eagles in each of the last two seasons for a 2-0 all-time series lead. Last year, the Beavers beat the Eagles in a thrilling five-set match 25-22, 25-27, 23025, 25-16, 15-12 at the NACC-IIAC Challenge.
