Edgewood College vs. Alverno College and UW-Whitewater women's basketball preview (.pdf)

Edgewood College will open their Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference season on Thursday in Milwaukee against Alverno College. The Eagles will then be tested in a non-conference bout at home against UW-Whitewater, who is ranked fourth in the nation.

Edgewood College holds the all-time series lead 13-5 over Alverno College, but the Inferno have won three straight over the Eagles and four of the last five contests. Last season, Alverno College took a narrow 63-57 victory over Edgewood College. In 18 all-time games, the Eagles have only won three against UW-Whitewater. The Warhawks have won seven in a row over Edgewood College and have not lost to the Eagles since 2005.
