MADISON, Wis. – The Edgewood University women's basketball team has been recognized on the 2026 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. Sophia Guerrero, Kate Gunderson, Grace Vesperman, and Taylor Wollin landed honors for their performance on the court, and outstanding work in the classroom.

On the court, Sophia Guerrrero (Lake Mills, Wisconsin) a sophomore forward had a strong year for the Eagles. She averaged 4.4 rebounds and 3.8 points per game. Guerrero led the Eagles with 30 blocks and added 24 assists. In the classroom, Guerrero is a history and secondary education major holding a cumulative GPA of 4.00.

Gunderson (Edgerton, Wisconsin) claimed the first All-NACC honors of her career. The graduate student guard claimed Honorable Mention all-conference honors. Gunderson was a key contributor for the Eagles, leading the Eagles with 9.8 points per game. She averaged 4.7 rebounds per game and added 32 assists and 12 steals. In the classroom, Gunderson carries a 4.00 graduate GPA in the MBA program.

Vesperman (Mount Horeb, Wisconsin) landed Honorable Mention All-NACC honors in her senior season. The guard averaged 7 points per game and dished out 52 assists in her senior campaign. Vesperman added 37 steals and 10 blocks. In the classroom, Vesperman is a nursing major carrying a 3.97 cumulative GPA.

Wollin (Lake Mills, Wisconsin) was a key leader on the court in the 2025-26 season for the Eagles. The sophomore guard led the Eagles with 6.4 rebounds per game. Wollin added 210 points, 67 assists and 46 steals on the season. In the classroom, Wollin is an elementary education major with a cumulative GPA of 3.80.
