Postseason starts Wednesday for Eagles

Despite having the second best Northern Athletics Conference record, the Edgewood College women's basketball team will hit the road as the fifth seed for their NAC Tournament opener on Wednesday night. The Eagles will travel to fourth seeded Benedictine University, who the Eagles defeated in December.

Wednesday's game will have an audio broadcast, provided by Edgewood College. Ben Larson and Suann Saltzberry will call the action from the Rice Center. Live stats will also be available. Visit EdgewoodCollegeEagles.com to find the links.

Edgewood College and Benedictine have split six meetings in their history. Edgewood College has won three of the last four matchups, but have yet to win a game at the Rice Center.

Edgewood College knocked off Benedictine 55-43 earlier this season, but that game took place at Elmhurst College while the Rice Center was being renovated. Benedictine is 8-1 since moving back into their home gym.
