Edgewood College will host Alverno College as part of the second annual NAC Challenge Game series, which matches up the North and South Division according to final placement. The winner of Saturday's game will be the 5th seed for the NAC Tournament while the loser will be the 6th seed.

In a season full of milestones, Alverno College gained one on January 4, with their first win in history over Edgewood College, a 76-57 victory in Milwaukee. Alverno outscored the Eagles 42-22 in the second half of that game.

Overall, Edgewood College leads the all-time series over Alverno 10-1. The Eagles are 5-0 in games at the Edgedome, winning by an average margin of 24.2 points per game.
