JANESVILLE, Wis. – The Edgewood College women's golf team competed at the UW-Whitewater Spring Fling on Friday and Saturday. Sarah Zimmerman led the way with a career-low score. The Eagles finished in 14th place of 16 teams with a total team score of 745.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sarah Zimmerman led the way for Edgewood College, carding a career-low 183 across the two-round tournament. Zimmerman opened with a career-best 90 on day one. She closed out round-two with a 93 to finish in a tie for 59th place.
- Braxton Brown carded a two-round score of 184 to finish in a tie for 61st place. She opened the meet with a 95 in round one, before improving by six strokes to an 89 in round two.
- Milanne Dahmen and Dawson Anderson tied for 65th place on Saturday, both carding a 189. Dahmen carded a 93 on day two, recording a three-stroke improvement from round one. Anderson was fairly consistent, carding a 95 in round one and a 94 in round two.
THE MEET
- Illinois Wesleyan won the team title by a score of 628. The Titans led Aurora by 16 strokes.
- Abbey Filipiak of UW-Stout earned medalist honors, carding a 153.

- Edgewood College will wrap up their spring season at the Carroll University Triangular on Wednesday. Action is set for 10:00 a.m. from North Prairie, Wisconsin.
