MEQUON, Wis. – The Edgewood University women's golf team competed against Concordia University Wisconsin in Bird Bowl III on Saturday. The Eagles earned the victory in the dual meet, firing at team score of 360.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kendall Kafar led the Eagles squad with an 85 (+13) on Saturday. Kafar's score was good for second place, overall.
- Grace Schomin finished third in the meet with an 87 (+15).
- Madison Najar carded a career-best finish of 92 (+20) to finish in fifth place.
- Lilly Sachtjen added another career-best, carding a 96 (+24).
- Hannah Hegland rounded out the Eagles lineup with a 113 (+41).
- Kamryn Ibinger competed as an individual for the Eagles, carding a 110 (+38).
THE MEET
- Edgewood University took home their first ever Bird Bowl victory with a team score of 360 (+72). The Eagles team score was their best so far of the 2025 fall season.
- Alexa Cour of Concordia Wisconsin took home medalist honors with an 82 (+10).
