FAN POLICY

THE EAGLES
- The Eagles and Falcons met two weeks ago with Edgewood College posting a
79-58 win. Edgewood College had one of its best shooting nights of the season, shooting 50 percent from the field. Four Eagles finished in double figures in the win:
Alyssa Lemirande (16),
Emma Klein (13),
Paige Banks (11), and
Diamond Pikulyk (10).
- We've said for a while now that
Bria Lemirande is arguably the top rebounding guard in the country. It probably should be said that she is one of the top rebounders in the country, regardless of position. Lemirande ranks 14th nationally in rebounds per game (11.4) and leads the conference. Among players who have played at least 10 games, nobody has more rebounds per contest than Lemirande. As a team, the Eagles rank fifth nationally with 34.5 defensive rebounds per game.
- Klein has provided a consistent source of offense for the Eagles as of late. The sophomore has scored in double figures in six of her last seven games. In three career meetings against the Falcons, Klein is averaging 15.7 points per game.
- The Eagles enter the week in search of their first regular season conference title since the 2004-05 season. It won't be easy, however, as their three opponents this week (CUW and Wisconsin Lutheran twice) have a combined 13-2 NACC record and are consistently two of the top teams in the NACC. All three games this week will be on the road for Edgewood College with its set sights on a league championship.
THE FALCONS
- Since falling to the Eagles two weeks ago, the Falcons have been on a tear winning their last four games by an average of 31.3 points.
- Clara Chambers is the Falcons top offensive threat, ranking fourth in the NACC with 15.9 points per game. Chambers has been on a scoring surge as of late with three 20-plus point efforts in her past five games, including 23 the last time the Eagles and Falcons got together. Chambers was recently named the NACC North Student-Athlete of the Week after averaging 24 points per game in two wins last week.
- Edgewood College has won the past three meetings between the two schools. CUW holds an advantage in the series all-time, 41-25.
