MEQUON, Wis. – The Edgewood College Women's Basketball team will put its unbeaten NACC record on the line Wednesday night as it visits Concordia University Wisconsin for a NACC matchup. The Eagles enter with a 4-0 league mark, while CUW owns a 2-1 record in conference play. Both teams will be playing for the first time in over a week.

UPDATED SCHEDULE
- The Eagles schedule this upcoming weekend has been changed. The game at Bethany Lutheran has been canceled due to COVID-19 protocols and procedures, but the Eagles were able to secure a rematch at No. 5 Wartburg. The Eagles and Knights will play Friday, February 12 at 5:30 p.m. These two teams met on January 3, a 60-51 Wartburg victory. The Eagles have won five-straight since then.
THE EAGLES
- Edgewood College has won five-straight games, the last four of those NACC contests. The Eagles are one of two remaining unbeaten teams in NACC North play, Wisconsin Lutheran being the other. Both teams own 4-0 league records.
- Wednesday's game will feature the top two rebounders in the NACC as the Eagles
Bria Lemirande ranks second in the conference averaging 11.4 rebounds per game. Lindsey Smitsdorff of CUW leads the NACC in rebounding at 12.4 rebounds per game.
- The Eagles lead the NACC in both assists (112) and assists per game (16).
Alyssa Lemirande leads the team with 4.9 assists per game, while
Bria Lemirande is averaging 3.1 per game.
Lexi Walter (1.9),
Emma Klein (1.8), and
Paige Banks (1.2) are all averaging over an assist per contest as well.
- Edgewood College also leads the conference in blocks (19) and blocks per game (5). Walter is leading the way with 1.3 blocks per contest with Lemirande (1.1) and Klein (1.0) each averaging at least a block per game.
THE FALCONS
- CUW split its first NACC series of the season with Lakeland and then defeated Alverno College in one game on Friday, January 29. The Falcons also did not play last weekend, the same with Edgewood College.
- Smitsdorff also leads CUW in scoring, averaging 14.6 points per game. She has three double-doubles this season and has secured double-digit rebounds in every contest.
- The Eagles won both games over CUW last season, ending a previous streak of 16-consecutive Falcons wins in the series.
Edgewood College won 71-68 on the road at CUW last season with
Alyssa Lemirande (16),
Emma Klein (16), and
Bria Lemirande (15) combining for 47 points.
The Eagles rolled in the home game against CUW last year, 77-55. The same trio all scored in double figures again, this time combining for 48 points. Klein and
Alyssa Lemirande scored 18 points and
Bria Lemirande posted a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
