MADISON, Wis. - It's still early in the conference season, but this weekend's NACC baseball doubleheaders might prove important in determining the conference champion. Edgewood College faces Benedictine University on Saturday at Stampfl Field, before traveling to NACC preseason favorite Concordia University Chicago on Sunday. CUC and Benedictine were picked first and second in the NACC preseason poll this year.

Edgewood College holds a lead in the all-time series with Benedictine by the slimmest of margins. Edgewood College has won five of the last eight games going back to 2013, to take a 12-11 lead in the series history. Edgewood College scored a win in the second game of their doubleheader with Concordia Chicago last year to snap a 10-game losing streak to the Cougars. Overall, the Cougars dominate the all-time series with a 20-4 lead.
