VERONA, Wis. – Baseball took on a nonconference foe as they continued they five-game homestand Thursday. They squared off with the Beloit Buccaneers. The Buccaneers (17-16) put together an impressive 11-2 victory over the Eagles (17-14).
HOW IT HAPPENED
- An infield single followed by a three-run homer in the first set the tone for Beloit in the first inning. While

- A two-run homer to left in the second and a two-run shot over the fence in left center field in the fifth kept the momentum in Beloit's favor. An RBI single and a two-RBI ground rule double in the sixth would wrap up the scoring.
- Jordan Rosenberg had a monster day at the plate. He hit 3-for-4 with three runs, five RBIs, two home runs, and a double.
- Seven Buccaneer pitchers combined for eight innings of scoreless work.
-
Braden Horton impressed in a short stint, fanning two in an inning pitched.
