Edgewood College vs. Loras, Alverno and Marian preview (.pdf)

MADISON, Wis. - Edgewood College's final week of the regular season includes non-conference action on Thursday at Loras College (14-20), Senior Day against Alverno College (13-23, 4-14 NACC) on Friday and the regular season finale at Marian University (20-16, 9-9 NACC) on Saturday. The Eagles are not officially out of the race in the NACC standings but need a lot of help even if they were to win out and finish at 10-12 in conference. If either Marian or Lakeland sweep their opponents on Friday the Eagles will officially be eliminated from postseason play.

Loras College will be providing live stats and live audio for Thursday's away games in Dubuque, Iowa. Edgewood College will be providing live video and live stats for Senior Day on Friday at Ceniti Park while Marian will be providing the same from Smith Fields in Fond du Lac, Wis., on Saturday.

Loras College leads the all-time series against the Eagles 9-4, although the Eagles did pick up two wins out of four matchups from a year ago. In 26 all-time meetings against the Inferno, Edgewood College has won 21. The Eagles swept Alverno 7-4 and 6-2 last season on April 18. Marian holds a slim lead against the Eagles in the all-time series at 41-34. Edgewood College won last year's first game 7-5 but fell 6-3 in the second game of last year's doubleheader on April 19.
