MILWAUKEE – The Edgewood University softball program as represented in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference softball awards, announced by the league office Friday. Lily Mabs was named Second Team All-NACC, while Lauren Prigge earned Honorable Mention recognition.

Mabs claimed the first All-NACC honors of her career. The junior hit .358 on the season and led Edgewood University in runs scored (25), doubles (13), home runs (7), RBI (38), and slugging percentage (.642) on the season. In conference play, Mabs totaled 27 hits, 13 runs scored, six doubles, three home runs, and 22 RBI. She led the Eagles with 14 multi-hit games and 11 multi-RBI games.

Prigge picked up the second All-NACC selection of her career. The sophomore posted a 4.12 ERA across 115.2 innings pitched. Prigge led the Eagles pitching staff with 86 strikeouts. In conference play, Prigge struck out 44 batters and five complete games. Against Rockford and Alverno, Prigge struck out six batters each. In a complete game win at St. Norbert, Prigge struck out five batters to close out the season.
Haley Barnes of Benedictine earned Position Player of the Year honors. Hannah Richards of Dominican was tabbed for Pitcher of the Year. Faith Keiper of Concordia University Wisconsin was named Freshman of the Year. Dominican, under head coach Cris Lukas claimed Coaching Staff of the Year honors.
