VERONA, Wis. – The Edgewood University softball team closed out their 2026 home slate against MSOE on Friday afternoon. The Raiders claimed a pair of conference wins over the Eagles, claiming both contests by scores of 4-0 and 6-2.
MSOE 4, EDGEWOOD UNIVERSITY 0
- The Edgewood University (12-25, 5-17 NACC) bats struggled in game one on Friday afternoon. The Raiders bats were consistent, with eight players combining for 13 hits. The Eagles left nine runners on base.
- MSOE (12-24, 9-13 NACC) scored three runs in the fifth inning thanks to an RBI double and single to left field. The Raiders plated another run in the sixth for the 4-0 final.
- MacKenzie Miller went 2-for-3 at the plate. Hailie Boardman, Abilina Dubree, and Olivia Chichenoff each recorded a hit in game one.
- Lauren Prigge pitched five innings in the circle for the Eagles, striking out three batters.
MSOE 6, EDGEWOOD UNIVERSITY 2
- The MSOE bats continued to roll into game two, scoring three runs in the first inning with a trio of RBI singles. Edgewood University scored their first run of the day in the second thanks to an RBI single off the bat of Gracie Halfman.
- The Raiders plated their fourth and fifth runs of the day in the third inning for a 5-1 lead. Savannah Radtke scored the Eagles second run of the game following a leadoff triple to left field.
- Grace Dooley went 2-for-3 at the plate and scored a run. Halfman went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
- Boardman earned the start in the circle in game two, going five innings. Prigge pitched two innings in relief, striking out three batters.
