DELAVAN, Wis. – Taylor Maier shot a career-low on the second day while Kendelle Grube and Dana Marshall were both one stroke shy of their 18-hole career bests over the course of the two-day UW-Whitewater Spring Fling at Delbrook Golf Course. The Eagles didn't qualify for a team score because of their three-person lineup on Friday but still posted strong rounds up and down the lineup.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kendelle Grube fired back-to-back sub-100 rounds with a 99 on day one and a 97 on day two for a two-day total of 196 to lead the Eagles.
- Taylor Maier shot a 110 on Friday and followed that up with a career-best 101 on Saturday morning for a two-day total of 211.
- Molly DuCharme made her collegiate debut and shot a 115 on Friday and improved by four strokes on Saturday for a total of 226.
- Dana Marshall competed on the second day only and shot a 90, which was just one stroke shy of her career best.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
- Maier's 101 on Saturday was seven strokes better than her previous career best. Saturday was the second round of her career with a sub-110 round.
- Grube's two-day total was a career best. Her 97 on day two was just one stroke off her 96 from the Edgewood College Triangular on Sept. 10, 2015.
- Marshall's career best also came at the Edgewood College Triangular on Sept. 10, 2015, when she shot an 89. She fired a 90 on Saturday.
FOR THE OPPONENTS
- Wartburg College's Brooke Klostermann ran away with medalist honors by five strokes. She shot a 76 on day one and a 74 on day two.
