WEST DUNDEE, Ill. – The Edgewood University women's golf team opened the 2026 spring season at the Judson Spring Invite on Tuesday. Grace Schomin led the Eagles with a top 20 finish in the one-round meet. Edgewood University finished in a tie for 11th place on Tuesday, carding a team score of 385.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Schomin led the Eagles with a final score of 88 to finish in a tie for 19th place. The freshman carded five pars on the day.
- Kendall Kafar posted a 92 on Tuesday. Kafar carded a 48 on the first nine, before improving to a 44 on the final nine holes.
- Madison Najar (101) and Lilly Sachtjen (104) rounded out the Eagles lineup on Tuesday.
THE MEET
- Lake Forest College claimed the team title with a score of 328 (+44). Olivet Nazarene finished runner up with a score of 333 (+49).
- Amanda Adley claimed medalist honors with a total score of 79 (+8). Teammate Libbby Hearst finished runner up with an 80 (+9).
UP NEXT
- Edgewood University will travel to Asbury, Iowa on Sunday, April 12 and Monday, April 13 to compete in the Loras Spring Invite.
