Edgewood College vs. Carroll University, Alverno College, Dominican University & UW-La Crosse preview (.pdf)MADISON, Wis. - Edgewood College has two weekday games away from home on its slate this week before hosting the Edgewood College Triangular on Saturday in the Todd Wehr Edgedome. The Eagles will take on Carroll University at 7 pm Tuesday evening and will return to NACC action on Friday with a 7 pm match against Alverno College. The Eagles will then host Dominican and UW-La Crosse on Saturday, with a 12 pm start time against the Stars and a 4 pm match against UW-La Crosse.
Live video will be providing by Carroll University on Tuesday while Alverno College will provide both live video and live stats for Friday night's NACC matchup. Carroll University leads the all-time series against the Eagles 11-8 but Edgewood College has been victorious in each of the last five. Alverno College has never found a win against the Eagles in 19 all-time meetings and all but four have been in straight sets. Dominican has won the last three against the Eagles--two of which were in the NACC Tournament championship game--and lead the all-time series 10-6. Edgewood College won their last meeting against UW-La Crosse but the victory stands as the lone win against them in 12 tries.
