MIT Invitational Preview (.pdf)MADISON, Wis. - The Edgewood College volleyball team is on the East Coast this weekend and will be gunning to improve on their 1-3 record against some tough competition at the MIT Invitational. The Eagles will open the tournament against Babson College at 3:30 pm Friday before squaring off against the host Engineers at 5:30 pm. On day two, the Eagles will take on Brandeis University at 12:00 pm and will conclude the tournament with Wellesley College at 2 pm on Saturday. All matches will take place at the Rockwell Cage in Cambridge, Mass.
Fans will be able to follow along with live stats and live video for the MIT match only at 5:30 pm Friday evening. There will be no live coverage available for the other three matches. Links to live coverage can be found by visiting EdgewoodCollegeEagles.com.
Edgewood College has squared off against just one of their four opponents entering this weekend. They fell to MIT in straight sets back in 2004. The Eagles have never met any of the other three teams participating in the tournament.
