Edgewood College vs. Benedictine and Wisconsin Lutheran baseball preview (.pdf)

The Edgewood College baseball team heads into a pair of important NACC doubleheaders this weekend, playing both the teams immediately in front of them and immediately behind them in the standings. The Eagles will travel to second place Benedictine University on Saturday, and then return home for a date with fourth place Wisconsin Lutheran College on Easter Monday.

Benedictine University will provide  alive webcast of Saturday's doubleheader, just as Edgewood College will for Monday's twinbill with Wisconsin Lutheran. Links for all coverage can be found on EdgewoodCollegeEagles.com.

Edgewood College holds a narrow 9-8 advantage over Benedictine in the all-time series. Edgewood College has won the last three regular season games, although Benedictine won a NACC Tournament game in 2012. The recent history between the Eagles and Wisconsin Lutheran College has been as close as could be. The two programs have split their conference doubleheader in each of the last four seasons. In 2013, the Eagles won a 5-4 game, but then lost a 12-11 decision.
