Edgewood College vs. Aurora University and Benedictine University softball preview (.pdf)

Edgewood College opens their NACC schedule this week and will be tested immediately. The Eagles face preseason favorite Aurora University on Sunday before taking on the three-time defending NACC Tournament Champions Benedictine University on Monday.

Benedictine has had the upper hand on Edgewood College, winning nine straight for a 12-4 all-time series lead. Last season, the Eagles were swept 6-1, 6-2 by Benedictine. In 18 all-time meetings, Edgewood College has never defeated Aurora. The Spartans took a 10-2, 4-2 series sweep last season.
