Edgewood College vs. Marian University & Wellesley College & Colby-Sawyer College preview (.pdf)MADISON, Wis. - Marian University is the last team standing in the way of Edgewood College before they travel to the San Juan Shootout shortly after Christmas. The Eagles will take on the Sabres on Saturday at 2 pm at the Sadoff Gymnasium in Fond du Lac, Wis., before departing for Puerto Rico for games on Sunday, Dec. 28 and Monday, Dec. 29. They will take on Wellesley College (Mass.) on Dec. 28 at 10 am (CT) and will battle Colby-Sawyer College (N.H.) at 6 pm on Dec. 29.
Marian University will provide both live video and live stats for the NACC battle on Saturday. Live coverage still has not been determined for the San Juan Shootout, but if it becomes available it can be found at EdgewoodCollegeEagles.com.
The Eagles and Sabres will be meeting for the 55th time on Saturday, with Edgewood College holding a 34-20 advantage all-time. The Eagles won the last meeting by a score of 73-63 on Jan. 29, 2014. The Eagles will be facing a pair of brand new opponents in Puerto Rico, as they have never squared off against either Wellesley College or Colby-Sawyer College.
