MADISON, Wis. - The Edgewood College women's basketball team is just two games into the 2014-15 season but will already be entering conference play Thursday at home against Alverno College. The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference showdown will take place in the Todd Wehr Edgedome on Thursday, Nov. 20 at 7:00 p.m. The Eagles will be looking for their first win of the season, as they fell to the University of Dubuque and Loras College last weekend at the Dubuque Tipoff Tournament.

The Eagles snapped a four-game skid against Alverno last January with a 10-point win over the Inferno. The Inferno won by an average of 10.8 points in the four meetings prior to last January's matchup. Despite the recent success from the Inferno in the series, the Eagles still hold a 14-6 advantage all-time due to their victories in the first 10 matchups.
