Edgewood College vs. Simpson College and Buena Vista University preview (.pdf)MADISON, Wis. - The Edgewood College volleyball team will wrap up the regular season this weekend at the Augustana College Invitational and will meet two members of the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletics Conference. The Eagles will open the weekend with a 12 pm match against Simpson College in the Carver Center in Rock Island, Ill., and will wrap up the weekend against Buena Vista University at 2 pm.
This weekend there will be no live coverage of Eagles volleyball at the Augustana Invitational.
The Eagles have had little history with both teams, as the Eagles and Storm have met only four times while the Eagles and Beavers have never squared off against each other. The Eagles are 2-2 all-time against the Storm and one of those wins came in 2012. Buena Vista is the only IIAC team that the Eagles have never faced, but the Eagles are 14-31 all-time against teams in the conference.
