Mother nature was not cooperating with the Edgewood College softball team as they faced three consecutive postponements last week. The Eagles finally played their home opener and have won three straight. More rain is in the forecast this week, but the Eagles are scheduled to play a trio of home doubleheaders on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Edgewood College is 4-10 all-time against Benedictine and has lost seven straight to the Eagles. Edgewood College has not defeated Benedictine since 2009 in a 4-2 decision at home. The Eagles have never defeated Aurora University in 16 all-time matchups. Last season, the Spartans defeated the Eagles 0-3, 5-10 in an away doubleheader. Edgewood College had dominated Wisconsin Lutheran, winning 39 of 50 all-time contests. The Eagles have won 12 of the last 14 against the Warriors, including both last season.
