Eagles slated for three doubleheaders this week

Lindsey Elsing
Edgewood College's spring trip to Arizona was a difficult one as they faced seven different opponents with a record of .500 or better. The Eagles came home without a win, but showed positive improvement in nearly every game. This week, Edgewood College begins Northern Athletics Conference play in hopes of returning to the postseason for the first time in five seasons.

Alverno College will provide live video and live stats for Saturday's double header. The links for this coverage can be found at EdgewoodCollegeEagles.com.

Edgewood College has bested MSOE in 32 of 46 all-time contests including 12 of the last 14. The Raiders have not won two in a row against the Eagles since 1996-1998 when MSOE won seven straight. Although Edgewood College has dominated Alverno College 17-3 in all-time matchups, the Inferno have won the last three contests. The Eagles last win came on April 29, 2011. Despite winning the first nine all-time contests over Dominican University, Edgewood College has lost seven in a row to the Stars. The Eagles won in 2009, but have not since.
