After opening the season 2-4 at the Finlandia Dome Tournament two weekends ago, Edgewood College will travel to Tucson, Arizona. The Eagles will continue their non-conference schedule as they play 10 games in five days at the Tucson Invitational. Edgewood College has never finished better than .500 in Arizona, but will look to change that this year.

Since 2007, Edgewood College has traveled to Arizona to play in the Tucson Invitational four times. The Eagles have combined for a 15-21 record in those four trips. In 2012, the Eagles came home with a 4-6 record including wins against Sul Ross State University and Dickinson College, two teams that Edgewood College will play this year. In 2009 and 2010, Edgewood College began the season in Arizona and posted identical records of 4-6. The only other familiar foe the Eagles faced in those years was Central College, who Edgewood College fell to 16-8. The Eagles also traveled to Arizona in the spring of 2007, going 3-3 in six games.
