Two weeks ago, the Eagles posted a 4-6 record on their spring break trip to Tucson, Ariz. The Eagles played two ranked teams, and defeated a Division II team. Edgewood College kicks off their Northern Athletics Conference schedule on Saturday at Alverno before their home opener on Sunday against Dominican.

Edgewood College had a 17-game winning streak over Alverno College snapped a season ago. The Inferno took game two against the Eagles 9-7 to earn their first ever win over Edgewood College. In 2010, the Eagles swept a doubleheader at Alverno, winning game one 6-4 in 15 innings and taking game two 8-3. The Eagles lead the all-time series 17-1.

Edgewood College won the first nine meetings with Dominican University, but the Stars have won the last five. The Eagles are 4-2 against Dominican at home, but dropped a doubleheader to the Stars in 2010. Edgewood College leads the all-time series 9-5.
