Postseason implications on the line for Eagles this week

Chelsey Watkins
The Eagles kept their NAC Tournament hopes alive with a win last weekend. Edgewood College is one-half game behind fourth place Marian University, who they host on Tuesday night. With a win over Marian, the Eagles would then need to win two of their last three to qualify for the eight team conference tournament.

All three games this week will be broadcast live online. Barry Adams will have the play-by-play on Tuesday night, and Kyle Jacob will call the live action on Saturday. The links can be found on EdgewoodCollegeEagles.com.

Edgewood College leads the all-time series with Marian University 30-24. However, the Sabres ended an eight-game skid with a 70-41 home win earlier this season.

Following a 12-game winning streak against Alverno College, the Eagles are just 3-2 against the Inferno in the last five meetings. The Eagles topped the Inferno 60-50 earlier this year and lead the all-time series 13-2.

The Eagles have lost their last three meetings with Wisconsin Lutheran College, including a 72-54 loss this year. The Eagles lead the all-time series 29-27.
