Edgewood College women's basketball has five regular season games left to try and secure a NAC Tournament berth. Currently 1.5 games out of the final playoff spot, the Eagles' push for the postseason begins with Aurora University who is currently mired in a 13-game losing streak.

Edgewood College holds a four-game winning streak over Aurora University and owns a 5-2 lead all-time. The Eagles and Spartans never met before the formation of the NAC in the 2006-07 season. Through a quirk in scheduling, the Eagles haven't played at Aurora since December 6, 2008, a game Edgewood College won 89-86 in overtime. The Eagles are 2-0 all-time at Thornton Gymnasium. Last season, the Eagles claimed a 74-70 win in Madison.
