UPDATE: Saturday's dobuleheader against Benedictine University has been pushed back to a 3:00 p.m. start time. The Eagles will play Benedictine at Ceniti Park in Verona.
The Eagles enjoyed some rest after playing eight games in five days last week. However, the Eagles welcome the Northern Athletics Conference's top two teams to Ceniti Park this weekend. First, the Eagles play NAC leader Benedictine before squaring off with second place Aurora on Sunday. The week ends with a road trip to Marian on Tuesday night.
Edgewood College will provide both live stats and live video for all four home games this weekend while Marian University will provide live stats for Tuesday night's tilt. The links can be found on

Edgewood College trails the all-time series with Benedictine University 6-4. Benedictine has won the last three contests and six of the last seven meetings. The teams have only played twice in Verona, and split a doubleheader in 2009.
The Eagles have never been victorious over Aurora University in 12 all-time meetings. A year ago, the Eagles dropped a pair of road contests by the scores of 8-1 and 4-2.
Last season, Edgewood College squared off will Marian University and unprecedented five times. The Eagles went 1-4 including an 18-16 loss in 12 innings and a 3-1 nine inning defeat. The Sabres lead the all-time series 33-30, but the Eagles 9-6 win last year ended a nine-game losing streak to the Sabres.
