Down 4-3 in the second set, the Eagles rolled off five straight points to take an 8-5 lead and extended the lead to 11-6 before the Falcons started to chip away. In the final set, there were only four ties and two lead changes, and all came in the first 10 points of the set. With the score tied at five, the Falcons went on a 4-0 run and never looked back as the Eagles did not get closer than three points the rest of the way, dropping the set 25-17 and the match 3-0.
