2012: Earned Second Team All-American, becoming only the fifth Edgewood College student-athlete in any sport to earn All-American status... Named Northern Athletics Conference Player of the Year... All-Midwest Region selection by the AVCA... Voted to CapitalOne Academic All-District 6 team... Named to CapitalOne Academic All-American Division III second team... Named to the NAC first team for the fourth consecutive year, becoming the first Eagle to do so... Broke the Edgewood College all-time kills record, passing Eagle Hall of Fame Member Mandie (Armstrong) Barr by more than 150 kills... Ranked 10th in the nation and second in the NAC with 4.3 kills per set... First in Edgewood College history with 3.83 kills per set, 1821 total kills, 5113 attack attempts, 136 matches played... Ranked 23rd in the country and second in the NAC with an average of 3.94 kills per set, which ranks fourth in school history... Her 501 kills also landed her second in the league... Finished second on the team with an attack percentage of .211... Her totals of 57 blocks and 14 solo blocks ranked second on the team... Was one of two Eagles to register more than 400 digs with 402... Became the first Eagle in history to record both more than 500 kills and 400 digs in the same season... Posted 11 double-doubles, including three matches where she recorded at least 20 kills and 20 digs... Set a school rally scoring era record with 31 kills in the Eagles' 3-2 win over the University of Dubuque on October 28... Registered 16 matches with 10 or more kills, including each of the last four matches... Reached at least 10 digs in 13 matches, including three of the Eagles' last four matches... Tallied 20 kills in a match twice, including her season and career high of 21 on Oct. 28 against MSOE... Accumulated a career high in digs of 18 in the Eagles conference tournament victory over Benedictine University on Nov. 3... High School: Started four years for Waunekee High School in volleyball... Led them to the sectional finals in 2007 and 2008... Was named MVP three times... First team all-confernece player in the Badger North Confernce three times... Named to the all-state first team as a junior and honorable mention as a senior... Started two seasons for their soccer team... Named first team all-conference her sophomore season along with winning the top defender award... Participated in the shot put and discuss for the Waunakee track and field team... Holds the school record in shot put... Started four years of basketball for Waunakee... Made first team all-conference three times along with being the team captian one year... Helped lead them to the Badger North Conference championship twice.
Personal: Parents are Bill and Kelly Palmer... Major is Political Science with a minor in Environmental Studies.
