MADISON, Wis. - The Edgewood College softball team didn't let the cold and blustery conditions stop them from playing on Thursday, but Concordia Wisconsin did prevent them from getting a pair of wins as the Falcons took both games to spoil the Eagles NAC opener. Edgewood College looks for redemption this weekend as they host Benedictine and Aurora before traveling to Maranatha Baptist on Monday afternoon.

The Eagles (4-8, 0-2 NAC) will host Benedictine and Aurora for the first time in history. They are a combined 2-8 vs. both teams on the road all-time and hope to reverse that trend at Ceniti Park in Verona this weekend. First pitch for each doubleheader is slated for noon on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
