MADISON, Wis. - The Edgewood College women's soccer team braved the chilly temperatures at Breese Stevens Field and posted double digits in goals in a 12-0 shutout of a shorthanded Rockford College team on Saturday afternoon. Seven different Eagles scored in the game and 11 different players had at least a point.

Kelsey Beck started the game with a pair of goals in the first seven minutes. After an own goal by the Regents, Abby Moder scored her first of four goals on the day. Alice Udelhofen tallied her first goal of the season off an assist by Jamie Ende to send the Eagles (8-3-1, 5-1-1 NAC) into halftime with a 5-0 lead.

Moder completed her four-goal game by scoring three times in a span of 2:46 in the early part of the first half. Tammi Hagensick, Tami Oilschlager and Clare Schumacher assisted on Moder's second half goals. The final four goals of the game were scored by Eagle freshmen, and each one was that player's first of their career. Kelsey Bysted scored twice, both assisted by Beck. Ende and Taylor Case also scored their first goals.

Ilana Bar-av and Kristi Firsch split time in the goal and each registered one save. For Rockford College (0-7, 0-5 NAC), goalkeeper Kelsey Symonds made 17 saves as the Eagles outshot the Regents 47-2 for the game.

Edgewood College will be back at Breese Stevens Field on Sunday for a re-match of last season's NCAA Tournament match. The Eagles will host UW-Stevens Point in match set for 1:00 p.m.
