VERONA, Wis. – The Edgewood University women's soccer team continued their conference slate with a 0-0 tie against MSOE. Wednesday's contest was a back-and-forth battle between the Eagles and Raiders. The Eagles defense held off 25 shots from the Raiders, with 10 saves from goalkeeper Madeline Brown.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Edgewood University (2-4-2, 2-0-1 NACC) struggled to find offensive momentum in the first half taking zero shots. The Eagles defense worked hard, warding off 16 shots from MSOE (3-2-4, 1-0-2 NACC) in the first 45 minutes. Brown posted seven saves in the first half to hold the Raiders scoreless at the break.

- The Eagles started to apply pressure in the second half, controlling the ball well and finding gaps in the Raiders defense. Kami Horn managed three shots in the second half with two on target.

- Brown continued to lock down the Eagles defense, totaling 10 saves in the contest.

- Teya Baxter posted three saves for MSOE.

- On the evening, MSOE outshot Edgewood University 25-4. Despite the lopsided statistic, the Eagles did well to prevent the Raiders attack.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- The scoreless draw was the best result vs MSOE since the 2022 season when the Eagles and Raiders posted a 0-0 draw on September 14.
