WEST CHICAGO, Ill. – The Edgewood University women's golf team competed at the Benedictine Fall Invite on Wednesday. Grace Schomin led the way for an Eagles team that finished 10th of 17. Edgewood University carded a 359 on Wednesday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Schomin finished in a tie for 33rd place with an 86 on Wednesday. The sophomore's round featured an Eagle on hole six and three pars.
- Kendall Kafar finished in a tie for 36th place with an 87. Kafar's round featured a birdie and six pars.
- Vivi Hruby finished in a tie for 54th place with a 92. The freshman carded a birdie and two pars on Wednesday.
- Lia Gawryk recorded a career-best 94 to finish in a tie for 59th place.
- Isla Rechlicz rounded out the Eagles lineup with a 105 to finish in a tie for 88th place.
- Elisia Wynos competed as an individual for the Eagles, carding a 104 on Wednesday.
THE MEET
- Aurora University won the team title with a four over par 292. The Spartans had four players tie for first in the meet.
- Anna Simpson, Avery Arendell, Anna Coccia, and Thanpimol Tharpanawongwech of Aurora each tied for first place with a one over par 73.

- Edgewood University will host their home invite on Sunday, September 20 and Monday, September 21. Action is set to begin at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday from Odana Hills G.C.
