Three Eagles named WGCA All-American Scholars

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Three from the Edgewood University Women's Golf program were honored as the Women's Golf Coaches Association released its 2024-25 All-American Scholars. Kendall Kafar, Braxton Brown, and Kamryn Ibinger earned All-American Scholar recognition for the Eagles.

To receive All-American Scholar accolades, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.50 cumulative GPA, while having played in 50 percent of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.

Brown averaged a team-best 82.67 across 18 rounds. Brown carded her career-best 77 twice during the spring, first on April 22nd at Bird Bowl II and again on April 26 at the UW-Whitewater Spring Invitational.

Kafar averaged a 92.78 throughout the season. Her career-low round of 84 came in the first round of the NACC Championships on October 5.

Ibinger competed in 15 rounds for the Eagles during the 2024-25 season. She averaged a 129.67 on the season and carded a career-best 107 at the Benedictine Spring Invitational on April 17.

A total of 1,499 women's golfers across all three divisions were recognized with this prestigious honor.
