JANESVILLE, Wis. – The Edgewood College women's golf team wrapped up the 2024-25 season at the UW-Whitewater Spring Invite on Friday and Saturday. Braxton Brown finished in a tie for 15th place, while Kendall Kafar finished 41st.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Brown carded an 85 to open the tournament on Friday. The senior improved on Saturday, carding a 77 (+5) for a two-round score of 162. Brown's round-two score came via 13 pars.
- Kafar posted a 92 in round-one on Friday. She carded a 91 on Saturday for a two-round total of 183 to finish in 41st place.
THE MEET
- Host UW-Whitewater took home the team victory with a 612 total. The Warhawks carded a 305 on day one, following that up with a 307 on Saturday.
- Kallie Lux of UW-Whitewater won medalist honors. Lux carded a one-over par 145.
