Preview: Eagles Face Aurora in NACC Tournament Quarterfinal

VERONA, Wis. – The Edgewood College men's lacrosse team earned their first-ever NACC Tournament berth. The No. 8 Eagles will travel to No. 1 Aurora University on Saturday, April 26. EdgewoodCollegeEagles.com gets you prepared for Saturday's league tournament matchup.

2025 NACC MEN'S LACROSSE TOURNAMENT PAGE

HOW THEY GOT HERE
- The Eagles earned their spot in the NACC Tournament following a 4-7 finish to regular season conference action. With expansion prior to the 2025 season, the NACC Tournament will feature eight teams for the first time. The Eagles enter the tournament for the first time in program history as the eight seed.

- Edgewood College took home wins over Marian (14-6), Lawrence University (13-10), Cornell College (14-6) and Beloit College (23-6) during the 2025 season.

- Aurora University secured the top seed for the NACC Men's Lacrosse Tournament, going a perfect 11-0 in conference play. During conference play, the Spartans did not allow more than nine goals and averaged 17.8 goals per game. The Eagles closest contest came against No. 2 Lake Forest College. The Spartans earned a 10-9 win over the Foresters back on April 16.

LAST MEETING
- Edgewood College and Aurora University last met on Saturday, April 5. The Spartans took home an 18-4 win over the Eagles.  

- Nick Orosco and Lake Rewey both scored twice for the Eagles. Logan Searles recorded 18 saves in net for Edgewood College.

- Nine different Spartans scored on April 5. Aurora took a whopping 78 shots, putting 39 of them on goal. The Spartans dominated the faceoff, winning 22 of 25 on the afternoon.  

NACC TOURNAMENT HISTORY
- This is the first trip to the NACC Tournament for Edgewood College men's lacrosse.  

- Aurora University owns an 6-2 record in the NACC tournament all-time, with two tournament championships to their name.
