WEST CHICAGO, Ill. – The Edgewood College women's golf team competed at the Benedictine Fall Invite on Tuesday. Braxton Brown led the way with a top 20 finish. Kendall Kafar impressed with a career-low score. The Eagles finish in 14th place of 14 teams with a total score of 439.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Brown led the way for Edgewood College, carding a consistent 81. The senior finished in a tie for 15th place.
- Kafar carded a career-best 89 on Tuesday in Illinois. Her mark put her in a tie for 43rd place overall.
- Kamryn Ibinger continued to show improvement, carding a 134 to finish in 81st place.
- Nadia Marshall rounded out the Eagles lineup with a 135 to finish in 82nd place.
THE MEET
- Aurora University won the team title by a score of 302 (+18). The Spartans led Marian by 16 strokes.
- Ellie Knight of Aurora won medalist honors, carding an even 71 on Tuesday.
