GALENA, Ill. – The Edgewood College women's golf team opened spring action at the Clark University Spring Invite on Monday. Milanne Dahmen, Braxton Brown, and Sarah Zimmerman competed for the Eagles at Galena Golf Club.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Dahmen led the Eagles with a score of 94, finishing in a tie for 15th place.
- Brown carded a 104 to finish in 35th place.
- Zimmerman wasn't far off with a 105 in the one round event.
- Round two was canceled due to weather. As a result, the event defaulted to a one round final.
THE MEET
- The University of Dubuque won the meet, shooting a 335 and leading Waldorf by 13 strokes.
- Jenna Bistline of Loras earned medalist honors, shooting an 80.
UP NEXT
- The Eagles will play in the Carroll University Triangular on Thursday, April 11. Action is set for 10:00 a.m. from North Prairie, Wisconsin.
