WEST ALLIS, Wis. – The Edgewood College cross country team competed at the Warrior Invitational on Saturday. Five Eagles competed in the meet which featured a 6K race for the women, followed by an 8K race for the men.
WOMEN'S RACE: 6K
- Maya Thompson continued to show improvement, recording a 6K PR to finish fifth in the race. Thompson crossed the finish line in 24:40.9.
- Ella Arenz shaved over one minute off her previous 6K time. She crossed the finish line in sixth place with a time of 24:55.9.
MEN'S RACE: 8K
- Brett Cox paced the Edgewood College men's cross country team on Saturday. He crossed the finish line in 30:53.9 to finish 36th overall.
- In just his second collegiate 8K, Nick Pacubas recorded a personal-best time. The freshman ran a 30:53.9 to finish in 38th place.
- Kadin Wojcik rounded out the Eagles lineup with a time of 33:12.1. Wojcik's time was good for 51st place.
UP NEXT
- Edgewood College will compete at the Private College Championships, hosted by Concordia Wisconsin on Saturday, October 19. The women's race will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by the men's race at 12:00 p.m.
