MEQUON, Wis. – The Edgewood University cross country team competed at the Ken Weidt Classic hosted by Concordia University Wisconsin. Tyler Mueller posted a personal-best mark in the men's 8K race.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Tyler Mueller led the men's cross country team in the 8K distance race. Mueller posted a personal-best time of 27:39.1 to finish in 12th place.
- Nick Pacubas added a time of 32:45.7 to finish the men's race in 67th place.
- Ellie Lill competed in her first 6K distance as an Eagle. Lill's time of 38:48.0 was good for 85th place, overall.
THE MEET
- Lawrence took home the team win on the men's side, defeating Concordia Wisconsin. Isaiah Lubner of Concordia Wisconsin took home the victory with a time of 25:54.5.
- Host, Concordia Wisconsin earned the win on the women's side, beating out Lawrence for the victory. Emma Ahrens of Concordia Wisconsin earned the individual win, posting a time of 22:21.9.
UP NEXT
- Edgewood University will compete at the Tom Hoffman Invitational on Saturday, September 20. The men's race is set to begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the women's race at 10:45 a.m. from Whitewater, Wisconsin.
