WHITEWATER, Wis. – The Edgewood College cross country team competed at the UW-Whitewater Tom Hoffman Invitational on Saturday. Seven Eagles competed in the meet which featured a 6K race for the women, followed by an 8K race for the men.
WOMEN'S RACE: 6K
- Maya Thompson paced the Eagles, clocking in at 25:49.5 in her first collegiate 6K distance. She was the first NACC runner to cross the finish line, her time good for 18th place.
- Ella Arenz was close behind Thompson, finishing in 25th place with a time of 26:13.4.
- Emily Austin and Hadley Hackinson rounded out the Eagles lineup with times of 29:25.6 and 30:26.7, respectively.
MEN'S RACE: 8K
- Brett Cox was first across the finish line for the men's team. He finished the race in 32:46.0 to place 110th.
- Nick Pacubas competed in his first collegiate 8K. Pacubas ran a 33:08.5.
- Kadin Wojcik crossed the finish line in 34:45.4.
UP NEXT
- Edgewood College is set to compete at the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warrior Invitational on Saturday, October 5. The women's race will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by the men's race at 12:00 p.m.
