MADISON, Wis. – On Masters Sunday, the Edgewood College women's golf team couldn't have
picked better weather for their first match of the spring season. The Eagles dropped a close dual match to Marian University 409-415 at Odana Hills G.C. with 70 degree temperatures and breezy winds.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Senior Dana Marshall produced the only sub-100 round of the day for Edgewood College shooting a 97 and placing second overall out of 14 golfers.
- Madeline Morrison made her Eagle debut a positive one shooting 103, including a 49 on the back nine, which placed her fourth overall.
- Molly DuCharme and Taylor Maier (playing as an individual) shot matching 104s.
- Kendelle Grube and Jamie Ring rounded out the Eagles lineup shooting 111 and 130, respectively. Sydney Wilcox finished her first spring event with a score of 142.
FOR THE FOES
- Jorey Staven earned individual medalist honors with a 47 going out and a 48 coming back in for a round of 95. Teammate Kayla Bowen was third overall with a score of 98.
UP NEXT
- Edgewood College will participate in the UW-Whitewater Invitational, which is being played in a new location this year. The event will be April 21-22 at Beloit Club in Beloit, Wis.
